A pie is the best, but I love camels.
Pie is the superior dessert

How about pie-cake?:juggle2::juggle2::juggle2:
CAKE!!!! You can turn a cake into a superb dessert anyday, make a choclate cake, top it with a cold layer of chopped strawberries in cream!! Voila quickest and tastiest dessert there ever will be!
It all depends, is the cake a lie?

Pie, because it is much more versatile.

Pies. You can sweet or savoury pies but whoever heard of a savoury :cake:? I rest my case M'lud. :7judge:
In all seriousness, cakes and pies both taste awful in different ways. :gah:
I vote for Gah!
Where is the bread option?
Oh and I voted for camels.
I don't really get the difference, even the translation seems to be the same, so I voted Gah!

I can't decide so I'll take a piece of both, please!

Pies are cooked in crusts, and are filled with some sort of fruit (apple, cherry, etc.) or other appropriate filling (ranging from pumpkin to the delectable innards of a pecan or custard pie.)
Cakes are bigass piles of sweet breading with some frosting.
(Plus pie can be used as a sexual euphemism.)
Well in that case I should have voted cake, definitely.

Cake Always went well with Milk :-)
Oh pies. Especially potato-topped pies, but any pie is good pie (except burnt ones, or ones that have the habit of burning your fingers with boiling gravy).
I'd find pie-arousing pictures but Google is inferior for pie pics.
Pie always prevails in the end! Yes we're leading!

You can make meat pies as well. But whoever heard of a meat cake? :inquisitive:

Wha?!.....What the.....?!! How??!!! How can someone describe a cake in so harsh a manner??!!
A cake is a soft springy delight, can be flavoured with the most tantalizing flavours in the world, and can be topped off with all that is good and tasty, from choclate bits and vanilla ice-cream, to apple jam with cherries........and while I'm not christian by religion, I still believe that a christmas cake is one of the best desserts ever concieved by mankind!

Is that what constitutes cake in your county? No wonder pie is better.
Which category does cheese cake fall under?
It has a thin crust of crushed Hobnobs at the bottom and have a thick layer of the philidelphia cheese and strawberry jelly mixture on top.

If you are referring to the vile concoction the British call Christmas pudding ... I am not going to say it. *calming down* :stare:

I do not know what the British concocted, the cake I talk of is choclate, crisp, moistened only slightly on the inside with syrup, flavoured with a touch of cinnamon, filled with nuts, raisins and plums...........ahh......

That would be something like a pudding I believe......

Nah, cheesecake is pie. It has a crust.
And no matter how wonderful or delectable any country's cakes may be... to me, it's all just cake. Just big slabs of sweet bread and whipped sugar.
So vulgar... so uncivilized. :toff:
Edit: India, stop describing that cake... you're gonna make me puke.

Gots to be Gah! since there's no both option.
Mmmm, homemade strawberry shortcake, raspberry cheesecake, black forest cake, devil's food cake, strawberry rhubarb pie, Mom's pumpkin pie, hot apple pie a la mode, shepherd's pie.
Too many good things, no one should have to pick and choose.

Okay, perhaps I was a bit too judgemental; I really don't lie most cakes because they are too rich. But I do like pound cakes and short cakes because they are much more simplistic: just sweet, buttery bread.
But still none of them can approach the diversity, refinement and beauty of pie.
Gots to be Gah! since there's no both option.

Well that's more or less why the "Gah!" option is there. Although in hindsight, I probably should've included a "both" option anyway, and left "Gah!" for cupcakes like Kekvit Irae. ~;p
