I'm glad you asked since no one else has had the courage to ask this very question.

Apparently, there was a patch to be released last week but I pulled some strings with CA and convinced them to hold off on releasing a patch because I don't feel we need one.

If you would still like a patch, please send me a check for $100 and I'll see what I can do. Thank you.

Well, actually, I do have the patch. It's being stored on a 3.5 floppy in a safe deposit box in an undisclosed bank in Zurich.

This is not some shoddy knock-off. We are talking premium patch. However, if you would like to purchase it, you must be able to arrange for the following:

1) release of the members of United Front for Liberation of Southern Navarre;

2) $100,000,000 in florins deposited into a bank account in Sicily [Acct. No to be provided]; and

3) You must swear undying fealty to the Argonese.

Furthermore, if you are unable or unwilling to comply with these demands, you will NEVER see your precious patch.

There is no patch. Any claims of a patch being produced were just a ploy to distract you while CA kidnapped your children and ate them.

CA eating children is a myth put out by the Patchniks trying to justify a hate campaign against all software developers.

Of course a few CA staff have been known to nibbletheir fingernails from tiem to time when approached by sweaty malnourished teen-geek-l33t-RT5-commandoes at E3, but anything more than that is a gross exageration.

And it's not like we actually need any excuses to berate SW developers anyway.

Look - it's real simple - send me the $200 ASAP & I promise you'll get the patch!
