Units in EB dont hold a formation!Do you like it or not??

I want to ask you guys do you the fact that the units dont hold formation when they fighting.The reason i am asking this is because i know how to change descr_formations_ai.txt in order to do not allow the unit to spread around in every direction like a bunch of peasants.If you dont like i can post you mine modified descr_formations_ai.txt were the formations are exatly the same like in EB,i didnt changed anything except that i added to every unit new "default_melee_state " but first i need a permission from EB team members to post this.

Your job is only to express you opinions and if a have a enough positive commentaries in this thread it will be no problem to get a permission.

Um you don't need permission. If you have modded an EB file as an EB submod you just need to post it in this forum:

Guard mode seems to work for me, as far as keeping them all in line.

I fear the goal you want to achieve with your mod has already been achieved.

Formations in "EB stock" are kept as long as you have "Guard"-mode active.

If you still don't like your formations(especially in spearbased infantry) I suggest using the existing and greatly refined "Fanatic's Phalanx Mod" (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=94341)
