That is one seriously talented kid!!

I hope he doesn't burn out, through drugs celebrity or otherwise as he'll be one damned talented adult if he keeps it up......

Eight/Seven? Yeah he's pretty good as a guitarist. Especially at that age. I don't mean to be mean, but he could work on keeping in time and build in a few more licks. But, he's got plenty of time to do that. Rock on little man. :hippie:

(That makes me sound like I'm not impressed, which I am, but it's probably because I went to school with two epic drummers, two prodigy guitarists [see (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aWC2P-FO4hM) for (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHSRzlwDtho&feature=related) your (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_C1a9Bf5HO8) selves (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8dsqtMSJsqk)] and an amazing songwriter/bassist).

For a seven to eight year old he's great. But you can see he has still a lot to learn. I hope he never stops, if he doesn't he'll be more than great. However he won't be one of the real top guitarists. There are kids of around that age, that play even better. Though I must say that I would have been very happy if I played like that when I was that age. And I don't just say it because I started later. Great, but not unworldly.

Wow, this is a tough "yeah, but..." crowd. Impressive kids, both of 'em. All hail the Guitar Gods, be they big or be they small. :guitarist: :2thumbsup:

Note this was about the kiddo for the OP. The other one has more talent and more chances to make it big. Of course you need luck to. Or if you don't have talent, you just use big label marketing and teen stupidity to make it. Of course you need big boobs in this case.:shame:

Moros, predicting someone's future, especially so young, is a dicey venture. Beside, great talent is not a prerequisite for success in the music industry. As you mentioned, luck is a factor - a major factor in my mind. Just look at the talent showing up on YouTube or on the many talent shows on TV. There are a lot of unknown folks with more talent than many big name acts.

Not being a musician, I can't nit-pick performances and spot minor flaws. However, I do enjoy music and that is the bottom line for most of us I suspect - did I enjoy it? Yes, in the case of both individuals showcased in this thread. Bravo! :applause:

Yes. Of course. I also noted that he was great (2 times), however I just sayed that while he could possibly make it in the industry. I just noted that he doesn't seem to become a truely top guitarist. He'll be a good, even great guitarist if he continues this way. Just a simple observation. Cause I've got great respect for him. Like I said I wish I played like that when I was that age.

I guess it's because I'm from the youtube age, that I'm not completely blown away. But also my commentary may even made it look like I wasn't even impressed. On the contrary.

Yeah, considering most of us at that age were still working on "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth" and the "Hokey Pokey" these kids have a great future and better yet, it's something they enjoy.
