OK I'll put it simple
what if I miss to activate the script for one turn and activate it the other turn?
Are any crashes related to this?
And what are the main reasons for CTDs when loading the battle?
In my last 2 crashes, they all happened after seconds or third battles loading screen...I started to worry if it's related to script thing since might have missed it for one turn in the past.

and my other question would be about turns..how can I change 4turns-1year to 2 turns-1year? Just wondering, I still like the turns work but reforms are sooooo faaar away and the game is kind of slow.

my game:I only installed 1.1........no patches

Nothing bad happens if you fail to activate the script for a few turns. But don't make a habit out of it.

Please, please download the EB 1.1 fixes. You can find them on this forum in a sticky post. This will solve the issue with your battles crashing.

There is not practical way to change the turns per year to two as a lot of coding is connected to it. You would have to delete the script that handles it but also search for every reference to I_TurnNumber and half the value next to it. Even then I don't know if that would change everything.

If you want the reforms earlier, it's much easier to change the minimum date for the reform rather than turn the game upside down. There are plenty of examples in the unofficial mods forum.

One time I forgot to activate the EB script, hit the next turn button and the next turn the campaign map became really messed up. You had perfect squares of territory in the map where the ground was covered with snow and right next to it you had perfect squares of green grass. This happened all throughout the map. No matter what I did this problem would just refuse to go away. I eventually had to reload. Another time I forgot to activate the script again, hit Next Turn and BAM! I jumped from 265 BC all the way to 14 AD, with tons of campaign map messages falling in the stack on the left side of the screen. These two problems kept happening every time I forgot to activate the EB script (about 4 times until I no longer forgot to activate the script).
