I am currently looking into a friendly league which would be based around 4 divisions with promotion, relegation and prizes.
It would be simple and small to start with and need dedicated players.
Would anyone be interested?

One idea is to play 1 league game a week to be decided at the players discretion and logfiles posted to me. Any no-shows will be rewarded with a loss!

I would like to as long as it fits into my schedule. Have you already decided when it takes place?

I have yet to decide the start date, but as mentioned it would probably be one game a week, at any time arranged by the players involved. There will be a fixture list that tells who is playing who each week.

What do you mean by promotion?

bottom 2 players go down a division(relegation)
top 2 players go up a division (promotion)

No shows?!? I thought you said you could play any 1 game or more you felt like... so how would you know if somebody is a no-show if there was never a scheduled game?
Perhaps you need to share some more info on this whole thing... Post your magna carta so we can all read the letter of the law...

The edit button is in the bar beside the date. It's the one with a paper and a pencil, either the middle one or the second from the right.

T'would be good - although if it was only 1 game a week, it might take a long time to get to the end of a season! (depending on the amount of players in a division - if you had lots of divisions with a few players in each, well....). Methinks it would only work if players could arrange to play each other by email or something - trying to catch them online would be a 'mare.
I can just see myself propping up the fourth division!

Hopefully, I will post the magna carta very soon, within a few days hopefully.
To start with though I envisage 4 divisions of between 6-10 players all playing 'home' and 'away' fixtures. Each player will designate a 'home' map that all their defending games will be played on from a choice of 4/5 maps such as Totomi, Hachiman, Wooded Roads4 Seibagahara for example.
More Details will follow.

What do you mean by a division? Like a military division? Or a sports division? http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/confused.gif

Krast likes the military division idea better. Krast comes to Shogun to escape yucky 'sports'.
Maybe Krast will go up divisions and cut the heads off more opponents up in the cloudy areas where there are no Ashigaru.
Good thing my Taisho is The Headless Horseman! He he... Krast cannot take his head! Nor can Magy take his ears!!
