I was wondering, does EB 1 require to be installed for EB 1.1 to work? Or do I just need to install the 1.1 version and skip the earlier one? I haven't installed either yet.

no EB 1.1 does NOT need 1.0 to work... if anything that would give you unnecesary problems or so...
