Vacuumcleaner crusade!

I must REALLY love this game, since I keep playing and playing although it pisses me off so often...

The latest of the AI antics is to promenade a French crusade back and forth across my poor HRE, pursuing my main armies and sucking in my troops. The crusade is bound for Antioch (wich I have already captured with a crusade of my own).

How about this itenarary for the French Crusade:

Flanders-Lorraine-Franconia-Lorraine-Franconia-Bohemia-Hungary-Poland-Bohemia...

I have the distinct impression it moves towards my stacks, but I keep moving them away from the crusade...

Some improved pathfinding algorithms? Please?

I had such a vacuumcleanercrusade once too in the Spanish Penisula. It was the French too, aiming for Egypt. They died in Aragon tho as they tried to cross my border the 10 time or so.

Taking France was a nice bonus to the battle http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/biggrin.gif .
