Hey guys,

Was wondering if any of you know any decent free programs that lets me view my screenshots. Any decent TGA converter ---> jpg would be awesome. I remember I used to have one a year ago but can't find it again. Everything else I google for either converts to everything BUT JPG or is a 30 day trial.

Sorry if this came up before, I tried searching the boards for TGA and found no other threads.

I got some epic screen shots I want to throw up :beam:

Perhaps xnview can do that, it's an image viewer that can convert quite a lot of formats.

Yup, IrfanView rocks. Especially with plugins...I never found any picture format IrfanView can't handle :D

And Batch conversion for multiple pics and comfort suff rocks too

Or if you want to do more than just viewing them. A free photoshopesque program called the GIMP may be what you're looking for. (use google, I'm to lazy.)

what folder does the game store screenshots in again?

what folder does the game store screenshots in again?

I believe it's simply named "tga"...located in the main RTW folder, not the EB sub-folder.

IrfanView for the win!
And yes, Socal Infidel is correct, main RTW folder, TGA, and you´ll find your screenshots.

Not worth starting a new thread over so I'll ask it here:

Are there any programs that can convert tga files to dds format besides the dds converter (which stopped working for me for some strange reason)?

There is only the dds converter.

Wow that was a fast response. Bad news tho--thanks anyway.

Why did it stop working for you? Perhaps some technical help can be found, doesn´t Irfanwiev have a rather detailed (and probably incredibly boring) help section that comes with it?

I just downloaded Irfanview and went to the tgas folder but there was nothing there but a picture that was completely blacked out. There should be a pic from an EB custom battle which I took from pressing the print screen(?) button but it's not in the folder. Is the anti-alising supposed to be off when taking pics? I'm using ALX.exe btw.

Yes, Anti-Aliasing has got to be off while taking pictures with through the in-game screenshot option. You can always download a program like Fraps and use that, enables you to have AA on plus take videos and such. Though I´ve heard the videos takes an hideous amounts of space.

ok, I'll try again with the AA off to see if that works.
