Hey,
as im currently under the guise of a jobless student, ive had abnormally long periods of time to play EB for once (it loads very slowly on my computer).
I've never really had the patience with it before, and usually end up ending my campaigns after i get a 'resonable' sized empire. Never being one for massive empires anyway.
I managed to get past the stage where i lost interest however, and now im quite impressed with the EB late game and interested in how everyones developed.
So heres a little description of whats happened in my game, mainly because I need someone to talk to it about, after telling my friends i've just siezed pergamon i just get blank looks.
By the way im not playing as baktria!

Sorry for the shoddy image (nice and stretched).
Im playing as the KH if you can't guess. My game started off pretty average, taking out the maks. I never tend to want to spread too far inland however.
The first interesting thing that took place in this campaign was when people started to rebel to me. Emporion, followed in quick succession by Olbia then chernesous and pantypakplace (the one next to it)
This is when i started to refer to my humble faction as the Pan Hellenic Empire.
Wars
My first major war of course was Makedonia, who moved over to the east, where i followed. Not a very spectacular war but nonetheless it helped me move across the pond and establish a powerfull eastern part of my empire.
At this point in time the Selucides (who'll you notice are dead) had a massive empire stretching nearly all the way to india. I never really went full scale with them, a few minor battles and city grabbing but I couldn't be bothered at the time.
Emporion rebelling to me brought me into war with the lustonnan and carthage. This led me to invading Sicily, eventually taking it all (originally just going for syrakousi). That war fizzled out after that, but they've recently just started it up again (because they took arse no doubt) which means i've got an excuse to take all their other islands.

The Ptollies
Now they started off as my strong allies the back stabbing bastards. We both took down the selucides together, their muscle and my money and spies. They basically adopted the whole selucid empire and looked stupidly strong, shortly afterwards turning to take on me. Countless battles led to me having a stupidly elite eastern army mostly gold chevrons. By this point in the game i was't actively wanting to expand, more persuading places that looked like they would want to join the pan hellenic empire.
Of course now they're fucked to put it blunt, Baktria who i didn't notice for ages somehow got huggeeee and they have tonnes of cash and men, really don't know if they'll cock it up like their predecessors.
Romanus
The situation in gaul is another place i like to dabble in, recently i've managed to get the adeu back on form with a combination of spies, money and a few aggresive 'diplomatic' manuvours. I helped the gaul cities rebel against their roman masters, but rome seemed to be gaining a grip on the area slowly. Through some dodgy diplomatic deals however, mainly down to me being their main trade resouce and embargoing them for years aswell as blockading their ports, i managed to get them to give me taras (silly idiots) and also bought rhegion of the epirotes who must have all spent it on crack and continued standing around in a daze.
I've had a few minor wars with Hayasdan and pontus. Both didn't last long. The situation with pontus was interesting, they were my allies, and punched through chasing the remnant of the maks. I accidently persuaded byzantion to rebel to me. But the next turn (after destroying their closest army) offered them a ceasfire, then alliance, and military access, which they happily accepted. I assume they'll turn on me later, but for now they seem content with marching their reinforcements through my land.
Anyway, if anyone actually bothered to read all this drizzle i'd like to ask for some advice what to do next. The only people im at war with at the moment is carthage, but its touchy with the romans.
I don't know which direction to go now (as im in so many different places) I've got alot of funds and the highest population so manpowers not a problem and i've got a huge navy. Any suggestions?
Thanks if you read it (i do write in quite an erratic way) and cheers for any tips, ill post if anything crazy happens.
