I get defeated in multiplayer, i think the world has ended, and i lie down and think about what i did wrong. Defeat hangs over me for about 1 hour the feeling is of failure to the clan and me.
Why? its a game for goodness sake, why be worried about it?

I'm kidding anyway, the E situation is fine, but I actually don't pay enough taxes (I finally understood that paying fat taxes is GOOD, because it only comes with fat incomes).

Funny, maroule, I always thought that money is stimulating only for the lesser (yeah, right) sex... women, you know. Seems I am mistaken here... http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/tongue.gif

Anyhow, I would love to pay them fat taxes too, as long as I have the appropriate income to justify them. I am afraid though I don't.

Tenki.. know the feeling well. I used to play chess, as a younger man, and had the same catastrophic reaction to defeats. The reason (as I understand it) is because you invest the effort as an extension of your mind and losing implies inferiority.

If you were playing a game of Stratego with a child, and reading a book while he ponders his moves, would you really care if you won or lost? No investment there.

Perhaps the flaw isn't really yours, anyway. Who knows how your system compares to your opponents? Do you actually use ALL the capabilities of the game system, or are you kinda lazy about grouping and such?

In the end we must realize we aren't all Alexander, but, we can still be Blucher. Keep
marching to the sound of the guns, pound away, and take pleasure in the strategy and tactics you employ, even if not always successful. For my money, none gets more respect than a guy who won't quit.

Ah, the government has done it's brainwashing of you quite well. The belief that paying more taxes is a sign of prosperity is something that the govt. has been telling people for years.
