I am being unfairly targeted by a mod, who seems to have warned me out of my ability to seek redress. May I have access granted?

Thanks,
pj

Wouldn't it be easier to state your case and then let it be moved to the BRWT...

TosaInu hasn't been on since you posted your request; no doubt he will grant you access. I can't imagine why he wouldn't.

In fact I am surprised that you can post here, but not in the Backroom Watchtower.

I know what you mean , them mods are always targeting me unfairly and giving me lots of points I really don't deserve in the slightest , its not like what I write is really that offensive or in violation of them silly forum rules they forced me to accept when I joined , its just sooooo unfair .
I demand a redress too as being naked can upset some people .

Generally disputes between members and moderators are carried out via PM's.

It would seem Panzer had an issue pertaining to the backroom, and he thought he was being treated unfairley. Presuming he had gone through it with the moderator in question, he was, presumably, querying why he did not have permission to post in this area. Given that the topic was moved here, I doubt he is aware that he can now use this thread and/or the dispute in question has been resolved.

Come on man, Ive been away in a very desolate place for months. I live the bile, the mud and the meyer the endlessly gets dragged up here. Even if my visits are shorter and shorter I prefer the public displays of malcontents and A holes.

Of course Im no fan of panzer but im sure he is right, anyone whos been in the backroom more then a month know the mods are biased towards anyone not residing in the EU.

Look at Tribes as an example, bolloxboy is still here! are you kidding me..... And didnt they make DevDave a senior member too?

At least allow us the entertainment value of blatant hypocrisy, especially for us casual members who have to come and go from time to time.

Should I have posted a Quicktime warning?

Should I have posted a Quicktime warning?

Can't say it's a frequent problem; but it did really freeze my browser and all of it's tabs. :gah:

Oops, didn't realize this had made it back here after all.

The situation resolved itself amicably. My issue was that a) I was warned for an "offense" in a rather long thread in which said "offense" had obviously been permissible on countless occasions; and b) I was warned twice for the same "offense" because I had done it in two different posts.

I think that if a mod feels a thread has taken the wrong course and wants to correct behavior, it is preferable and fairly standard to first alert the offenders either in a post or through pm that a particular behavior is no longer acceptable before issuing warnings. Also, I thought that it was pretty much standard operating procedure to issue only a single warning for a particular offence and allow the member to adjust his behavior. For example, if a new member cursed in 3 different posts before a mod caught it, he would only receive one warning for cursing.

Add to this some personal issues with the mod in question and I felt I was being unfairly targeted.

But like I said the issue resolved itself seemingly on its own and I only wish I could say I've been warning-free since then. :sweatdrop:

This thread can be discarded.
