Out of the EB period, but surely of interest anyway; fragments of a statue depicting Marcus Aurelius has been found at a dig site in Turkey.

That is a huge statue! Turkey always has a lot of archeological surprises.

wasn't there a restriction on the size of the statue of Romans? Or am I just talking bollocks?
