Help: problem in custom battle

Hi!

I have a problem when i try to create a custom battle.
When i choose i faction, i see that there are a lot of units in the units selection box, but mostly are mercenaries or auxilia from other nations: i see very few units of the nation want to play and i find quite difficult to create an homogeneous army.

More than so, i see that many faction units are missing! For example, if i choose Senatus Popolusque Romanus, i don't have Hastati, Principes, Triarii or any other roman unit in the units selection box! Why?
But i notice that if i let computer choose my army, it chooses units that i don't see!!! It chooses roman units, but they are missing in the units selection box and i cannot choose them if i want to create an army by myself!

Must i modify some file? There is some fix to this bug?

I guess you have the trivial script installed?
Just check multi player then before starting the game.
You'll have change to single player again if you want to play a campaign.

If you don't have the trivial script installed, you can do it manually too.

Q: In custom battles or multiplayer the unit selection is missing units.
A: All of the regionals cause a problem for the custom battle / multiplayer list. There is a special EDU for custom battles / multiplayer in the "...Rome- Total War\EB\mp custom game edu" folder. Rename your campaign EDU then place the EDU from that folder into the "...Rome - Total War\EB\Data" folder. When you want to play a campaign again, switch back to your original EDU. EB v1.1 now comes with the trivial script, which will automatically switch the files for you. To play custom battles or multiplayer battles with all of your factional units, run the "Play Multiplayer" option of the trivial script.

Maybe it was a corrupted installation: now i installed again and all works! :2thumbsup:
