PC 161 BF2 problems

Hey, recently been having problems with my Battlefield 2 voice deppatertment, ie, there is none. I use the BF2 voice setup thingy, and it flat out refuses to recognise the fact that I am speaking. I'm using the rather excellent PC 161 headset from sennheiser,and skype will atest to the fact that it's certainly not the mic at fault. I've tried everything, plugging it in the blue instead of the pink socket, muting, then unmuting, turning volume up all the way, and it just refuses to accept that I could own such a wonderfuil instrument.

Is very annoying.

This problem sounds like it's specific to BF2, therefore most of us won't be able to help you. Someone who owns the game might.
