Might I inquire why the Guild is no longer accepting new registrants?

In light of the recent re-routing of .com'ers to the .org, this would be an excellent opportunity to win over their "hearts and minds" by signing 'em up.

Is the decision one of necessity? policy? security? lack of administrative resources?

Why no new members?

We're in the process of switching to a new board. A lot has to be figured out. I managed to get the MySQL working today, the 'script' provided didn't do his thing.

Most, if not all art has been made, and the important edits and the converter are collected/made.

The converter may or may not work, best is to keep this forum in good shape, I had to do some urgent maintenance this week since topics were lost. If the converter doesn't work I may have to sign up each member manually :-(.

We're indeed short on staff right now, this might slow down the process. You can be assured that we work hard to get things done.

We can sign up ourselves if the converter thingy doesn't pan out, right? Signing us up manually! Yikes! That's WAY beyond the call of duty.

you can bet Tosa will be emailing us Mods reams of printouts so we can all do the manual logging-in, too. Sort of like the opening scene to Conan the Barbarian where a big guy is whipping little kids, making them turn a grindstone.
