Hi all. Only my second post here but I've been reading a lot of late. I downloaded the Hayasdan empire reforms guide and have been truly enjoying the faction. A tough situation to begin with, but AS is fading already, and myself and Pahlava are going to have to come at one another at some point.

Question I have, though, is does anyone have the exact requirements needed for the various Hayasdan kingdom/empire reform triggers to occur? I've been building up Armivir and expanding into Anatolia (Synope and Trapezous are mine, and I'm giving Pontus money to keep fighting the Ptolemeys) and the Levant -- Antiochea will be mine within a couple years.

All this in about..20 years or so into the campaign. I'd love to get the reforms in place and move beyond level 3 governments.

The Hayasdan Reforms Guide should be all you need.

You need to have all the homeland provinces listed in it, and I believe Armavir needs to have at least a level 2 market and a town garisson and carriage road (Not sure about the last one)

After that, if you destroy the government in Armavir, you should be able to build a level 1.

Also here's a thing that a lot of people miss, the expansion government marker will NOT dissappear, for either reforms. A new homeland marker will be added, normally it will be on the second "tab" of buildings *or the unreachable third if there are a lot of buildings already.* The reason why the expansion marker stays is because the script cannot destroy buildings and you can't normally destroy them yourself for good reasons.

So once you know you have fulfilled the requirements for the reforms, delete the old government and you'll see you can make a type 1 government.

That makes sense. I need to keep the guide at my computer, not on my nightstand to read. :)

I may need to go to war with Pahlava, who controls the two provinces east of Hayasdan-proper on the Caspian.

I have to say, EB makes me never want to startup vanilla RTW again.
