First, i would like to say i trully enjoy this Mod. it is most exelent.
Now to the matter: In this mod, we get a historic message every 4 seasons about wordly events. However, after around 207BC they stop appearing!. Could you please help me to get them back up, i really like them. Or do they stop after 207 as developers got lazy typing up history? heh
I do not scipt thing, as i see no difference between having it on or off, as i still don;t get my history info.
Thank you for you time.

thank you, so i assumed right, the guys just couldn;t finish it through all the ages lol. Maybe in EB 2 heh.
Either way, i have a question? What does Scripting Do anyways? does it do anything special? i can;t seem to find any explanation to what it really does. Since i am fine with the ai, on hardest level, with its performance.
thank you.

The script makes four seasons per year instead of two, it helps the AI not to go in debt and deplete their population, it enables the reforms that provide some factions with new units when certain conditions are met, it spawns client rulers when you establish a client kingdom and it triggers some other minor events if the correct conditions are met which you may find somewhere in this forum.
I hope i didn't forget anything important. Over all, the script does some hell of a job.
The script is an essential part of what makes EB EB.

The script is an essential part of what makes EB EB.
Not in EB II it won't.
That's true. It will then be an essential part of what makes EB2 EB(2).

Take a look at EBBS.txt in the scripts subfolder of EB.
That's what it does.
Without it you don't get refroms, client rulers, special events, seasons,..
Without it no AI faction can create troops in any region but the ones they start with.
Without it you only get a bunch of passive, non recruiting Ai faction that will be in debt since turn 5 and will never be able to get out of it.
Hope that answers your question?

That is odd, cause my AI on hardest, is very actively recruiting, hell, he is kicking ass on top that, i only win cause i can hold the line better than him,or my army is somewhat more experienced. I will try to see how it goes with the script. Also, he is battle behavior is solid, as on battlefield and the map. So, unless i am accidently running the scrip, even though i have not activated it. Then it would explain things. Cause atm, i am playing Iberians, hell, my Romans are doing Real well, and everyone else. If i got front light infantry he breaks them in no time, medium there is hope, but not 1on1, only elite can hold the enemy 1on1. Most major battles for me end up 1 to 1.2 kill ratio. Although, i got no heavy cavalry atm, so heh i can;t abuse flanking +super charge.
But i will do what you guys said, I am really enjoying this Mod. I used to be on Total Realism, it was good , but this one nails it for me. Hope the EB2 will be even better.
Thanks for all the post
