Does anyone have a strategy for Epiros? I started one too see how easy or hard they are as I have crushed their faction three times now playing as either the Greeks or Macedonians and I wanted to try them out. The main differences I see so far is they start out with less troops, only 1 elephant where the AI has 2, less troops and no MICs in Taras, and the Greeks and Macedonians both attack me instead of each other.

My first turn I sieged Macedons northern territory and put every single unit I could against it and it fell in 1 turn. I then moved my army south and attacked his second city and took it. The advisor said the Greeks would go to war against me for taking it but I didn't care my income was hugely negative and I needed the income.

Since the Romans had a huge number of troops facing Taras I disbanded all three units there, destroyed every single building I could, and raised taxes to Very High. In two turns the city rebeled and a large force of rebels took it over. Since I had no hope of holding the city and Rome refused a ceasefire I decided it wasn't worth holding for now.

Well I now have 4 cities in Greece and I am at war with Hellen, Macedon, Selucid and Rome. Every faction has refused a ceasefire and even the Getai refused an alliance which is crazy cause they are at war with Macedon too.

The Greeks sent a large force to attack me which I easily destroyed by using my combined infantry and cavalry forces and now Macedon is sending his last army against me, full stack, which I think will be very hard to defeat. If by some miracle I can hold him off I should be able to out produce the other two factions and defeat both.

Compared to the Greeks and Macedon I think Epiros is going to be much harder early on but if I can hold off the Macedon army moving north I should have a good chance.

a completely inoffensive name

It sounds like you are doing fine on your own then. You seem like you know what you are doing and don't need any advice. Within 10 years you will probably control all of Greece.
