I like both (hence my vote), but I'm more a logical kind of guy. I've barely ever written poetry, but I'm great in maths...

"science and newspaper political-ish person"

science will someday explain everything, and I would surely like to be part of it

perhaps in bout 20-30 years all the world will know my name (if by then I still remember RTW I'll mention it so you guys can recognize me then :beam:) :cool4:

The two are not mutually exclusive. Science can both be profoundly beautiful and require a lot of creativity to succeed in, whilst on the other hand I do not subscribe to the notion that if you can explain logically why a work of art is beautiful, it instantly loses its artistic value.

Then again, I am a lot better at the logical stuff than the creative, so it could be that I just never got the point of the art in the first place.

Im logic all the way, Maths and Science is my thing, i enjoy them and they fascinate me, but art means barely anything to me, i don't honestly ever remember drawing or colouring, i still have a tin full of crayons that look unused so i think i really did skip any kind of drawing and saw art as a crappy subject which i disliked, though it was fairly easy going i just can't draw to save my life, im probably as skilled as your average 10 year old when it comes to drawing....

TBH i think its hard wired into me, i pretty much think everything through logically...

I have a great appreciation for both. I love geology and astronomy, but I also enjoy me some poetry and art as well. And as PBI pointed out the two aren't mutually exclusive in any case.

Agreed.

I'm equal on both, and I love both aspects. A world without the other would be unbalanced.

Actually I can't stand art and poetry. I do, though, enjoy music, and at times, the lyrics too. Reading about science does not interest as much as it used to; but I like to understand how things work; or at least to try to.

I am an award winning designer and an excellent artist but at the same time I love politics and science. I think the attention I give to current events and the sciences keeps my ‘designer’s eye’ sharp.

To focus it a little more, I have found that most people are either artistic or musical. I couldn’t carry a tune in a bucket but I could draw a bucket filled with tunes. ~D

meh

and if you dont think that cogitive psychology has no science in it your mistaken, parts of it focus on how the mind works, scientific enough to me

I prefer a nice blend of both, actually. However, I am biased for the scinces and disaprove of the final response, so Ill choose the second one.
