Loop of Blind

Awake, disturbed by,
The biting, as I lie
Beneath radiant fibro
Oh, how my thoughts they
Force me to slip away;

The wood leans too,
Far, held up by
A growth of weeds,
Pressing, and poking
Out into full view;

Incomprehensible voices contour,
To sing louder than
Gargoyle rainfall,
Urging my mind
To reach through the door;

Thump! As it is slammed
Once more, once again,
Bathed in grey of no end,
And four walls
In every bleak lustre painted;

Harsh the morning light winds,
And ties into this
The noiseless overwhelming,
Not a hiss from,
My cement surrounds;

This is the place
Where I’m naught but skin,
And under the skull.
An echoless void begins,
Covered by pencil lead face;

And beneath these toes,
Blankets out a shiny
Wilderness of metallic afterbirth,
Draining for all my worth,
Softly building up my foes;

But before the tide,
Scarring subsides
Always by the ending day,
As passing noises have their say,
And darkness once again spied;

Dusk, it releases,
As astral evening descends,
Where vision ceases,
And sound transcends.

OOC: I also read your posts in the Andalusian Memory... Nice poems (that of the grasshopper brought me to some Japanese thoughts)
