How to control another faction

i want to control the selekuids for a turn to fix their economy but i cant figure out how to get the change faction script to work i already tried the one at the frequently encountered issues thread can anyone help?

Go to the generic script, and directly under "console_command toggle_perfect_spy" add another line:

"console_command control romans_julii"
