Personally, I still think it's too early to say for sure yet. Still, it does look like there's at least a decent possibility that it is Itil.

To be honest, I am very interested in this discovery. The Khazar Khaganate is something that always fascinated me due to their intricate culture and military power.

I remain sceptical. Archaeologists and other Scholars claim this sort of thing all the time.
