Hello all,
I am well... uh, cheating. :) If there is a general I have to "live with" for a very long time, I get rid of any super glaring handicap traits he might start out with. (Starting out with something that is like -3 management from day one is no fun.) Unfortunately when playing someone other than Rome, lots of times the generals have only one name (well, this makes it easier MOST of the time) but it gets screwy when you end up with two generals with the same first name.
Questions:
1) If two generals have the same single name (say "Antigonos") is there any way using the console to distinguish between one and the other?
2) If someone has a name like "Antigonos of Macedon", how do you enter his name in the console to get it to recognize it? I've tried Antigonos, Antigonos of Macedon, and Antigonos_of_Macedon and the console always says general cannot be found. What is the correct way to type it when a general has a suffix like this but no last name?
