This is stupid, but always puzzles me. Is this a glitch or prelude or what?
In the midst of a turn {when the ai goes into action} and the characters move around.
How come a princess (who offers her hand) or diplomat {who extends his arm with contract) go through the motions without any correspondence happening?
You expect a treaty or marriage proposal but nothing happens during that turn.

There trying to bribe whatever is neir of them, In Rome that was what the advisor said, and it is quite real, kill them before they succed.:skull:

It could be a bribe, especially if it's an enemy nation, but I also think there's a lot of failed diplomacy that gets tried by the AI and simply doesn't work. For example, has the AI ever actually requested your assistance in a war? Have they ever asked for map information? Or military access?

It's just another obvious aspect of broken gameplay. :wall:

well princesses cant bribe. but i do agree a diplo glitch is in this game. some1 said give a token offer to them w/ a diplomat, such as 100fl w/o anything else, and theyll counter offer their real intentions. if it is a diplomat again and again doing that action, i dont think its bribing, unless its a feature of the dumb AI. heck, he'll just lose influence if he does that over and over.
