Yes EA has Binned/Canned/Shelved/etc its latest title: Tiberium, due to quality issues, oh the Irony I say! :grin:

Now if only EA would dump some of their other games for quality reasons... or, and this will sound like a crazy idea, they might improve the quality. Nah, actually - that's just crazy talk.

Same thing here. Never even knew about it until I read about the cancellation on Gamespot

I guess if EA pulled this game for quality issues, then it must have been a real train wreck there considering some of the games that EA lets through

There was another, Renegade, that was made ages ago, by Westwood, whilst being bull whipped by there EA overlords, causing them to :daisy: up the entire C&C Tiberian Theme timeline.

I think that was there last game, although RA2 might of came after, although before probably.

Honestly, i'm amazed how literally everything EA does is met with scorn. This seems like they are taking steps toward actually introducing some quality control. Isn't that a good thing?

No it was the last, but it was a turd. Mostly because Westwood was incompentent with any type of game save RTS. It got some support post release. Then all Westwoods resrources were shifted into CnC Generals. Which is what they were working on when EA decided to fill in the money pit that Westwood was. You'd think that EA owning Battlefield they'd get DICE to work on a CnC shooter game.
