I have played 4 cpu games more than 4 times in my life MTW,RTW,Vicky and HOI2. I got frustrated with RTW and HOI2 but still play Vicky and MTW. However these games dont work on my mac, anywhere I could find them? Or am I doomed to spend all my time here? lol

Hey SFTS! A pleasure to see you here. ~

Unless CA has been hiding something from us, there's unfortunately no Mac version for MTW. I have heard there's a way to run Windows games (including MTW) on the Mac, but I don't remember much in the way of details. I seem to recall it involves installing a Windows emulator program, but that's about the extent of my knowledge.

I can install windows on the mac however that will slow my mac down and make it prone to viruses so it really isnt the best option. I can still play at home just not here. If I could install an emulator without buying anything ridiculously priced that would be good

like he said, you have to install an emulator, but it will slow it down while you run it so dont have anything else up, and yourcomputer would have to have allitle better than the minnimum to run it

A friend of mine uses Visual Studio IIRC, but I'm unsure of the cost of it.

Hi

Get a proper computer. It will be well worth the outlay.

SFTS, I'm afraid that playing MTW is not an option on your Mac unless you are willing to use XP under Boot Camp (or an emulator like Parallels, but these whilst these are fine for MTW, they're not good for 3d games). I've run MTW, RTW and M2TW under Boot Camp on my MacBook Pro.

With Paradox Games however, you are dealing with a more enlightened company. All the Paradox games are available for the Mac. I get my versions from here (http://www.macgamestore.com/).

Vicky and CK play very nicely natively on Mac OSX. And of course, the Civilisation series is available too.

So sad about MTW. The nearest I can get to it is Imperial Glory. Maybe one day CA will see the opportunity in licensing their games to a porting company like Aspyr.

I think SFTS already has what you would call "a proper computer" and a Mac does actually fit this category also. He simply wants to be able to run MTW on his Mac... for convenience I would guess?
