In these troubled times, I think its important to remind ourselves of what's really important.

Unfortunately I don't have any squid news to share, but we do have video of the deepest living fish ever filmed:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/sci/tech/7655358.stm

I know they look a bit like regular fish, but that's 4.8 miles straight down, baby.

They look like tadpoles, perhaps they happened upon a new undersea frog and they have yet to mature. :laugh4:

The deep sea is so much like deep space, I love it!

I always thought it was giant squid and such creates that lived at those depths. Clearly these fish are part of an octosquid diversion to distract us. The real invasion will of course come from space.

Malarky EA! This just goes to show to what depths you will go to push your octosquid nonsense. No fangs, spikes, horns, armor plates - nothing but cute tadpoles that we're all supposed to be quaking in our boots over. I'll bet the Care Bears and My Little Pony are in on it too! :laugh4:

Now, when the stock markets shows up on those deep sea cameras, that will be scary.

Those deep water fishes were indeed strangely normal.

Or...is this double post the signal to begin the long awaited octosquid invasion? :inquisitive:

I don't know; I pressed the REPLY button when I should have pressed the edit button. I live close to the sea though; so granted, I shall sleep with one eye open tonight.

That reminds me of the Australian fisheries minister who, upon a coelacanth being caught said,

" We must never allow these fish to become extinct again".

We'll be safe, as long as we can strike up a lasting alliance with the mutant zombies.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend? Thought that didn't work.

:phonecall:The zombies just called. They said they want to meet with the brains of our operation to "discuss" strategy.
