I've heard conflicting reports.

Is this working?

Which building affect valor and how much valor does each building provide(now)??

This is a really good question.

In STW the upgrades to legendary/complexs increased valour so if the valour increase does not happen why not?

I believe that it would make the game different if the AI could take advantage of the valour increase that this would cause and have better tactical battles due to less running away!

If you look at the crusader buildings txt file post-patch, it indicates that the final evolution of each building type gives +1 honour. I think this is a good thing - some benefit to building upgrades, but you can't out-tech the AI too much and it doesn't distort the comparison between troops of different eras.

What is honor? Is this the same as morale?

Buildings like a church gives +1 morale. Is this only if fighting in that territory or is it for troops built in a territory with a church??

Do most players build these in all territories for this modifier?

And exactly what buildings, if any, give additional valor? I thought the only way to get units w/ extra valor is to build units in territories that say they get a bonus(like making Billmen in Wessex).

Master buildings grant 1 Valour.

All religious buildings (besides Chapter Houses, but Ribats do) grant Morale in some degree. This is added onto the unit and will work everywhere, just like a Valour.

Honour was the equivalent of valor in Shogun TW. I read in this forum that now no building grands units with valor bonous.

Sorry, tough guy - the word "honour" is a hangover from Shogun. I meant valour, which is identical to honour in Shogun (ie +1 attack, +1 defence, +2 morale?). As far as I understand it the final unit producing buildings give +1 valour - I forget the exact names, but stuff like master horse breeder, master spearman's guild etc.

And yes, definitely build churchs and later more advanced religious buildings in troop producing provinces to raise the morale of the troops you build there.
