I have been thinking for some time about how to use the Immortal trait in alex.exe.
One Idea I've got, is to do forts permanent, and make them look like a village/town on the stratmap and Battlemap.
I already know how to make Forts permanent. To d othis, you take a rebel diplomat, give him a trait that gives him like +100 personal security, the immortal trait and a -100% mobility trait and put hi min a fort.
To make a fort look like a town on the stratmap isn't that hard either.
But Could you make a fort look like town on the battlemap?????
If there's a way to do this, I dream of doing a mod that put up towns and villages that didn't make it as real cities, but still should be represented. India would not be that unpopulated.
As I'm awful at coding I have to ask. Would there be any way to tie strings of code to the forts? like it would give a Income bonus to be in control of all the pseudo-settlements in a region, and a order penalty for the opposite?
making traits and put forts on the stratmap I could do myself, it's research and fiddling with models I need help with. And coding. Is there someone who could answer my questions or would like to join?
