just had to time to start a campaign for Turks yesterday (high/expert) and I was, as most SP people, very satisfied.
- Battles are more jerky but I can play with sounds now
- the mongol invasion is ENORMOUS, with little or no useless ballistas, and good geberals. Resisting waves upon waves of it is great fun.
- rebellions have more peasants in them, and are much larger. Upon conquering Trebizond, I had two christian rebellions the first two years and I was really streched. Nice.
- An english crusade mounted a real challenge on my constantinopolis province, and did not wander around before attacking me.
- Other modifications (sea lanes and all) are nice
- battle wise, I have seen much less hesitation (dancing in front of crossbow) from the AI in attacking my defensive lines.
conclusion : in 20 turns or so, I have been really streched 3 times, which is normally what happens in about 100 years of campaign BP (before patch).
aaah, and I thought the addiction was gone....
