How do I verify that I am playing EB with BI?

I was intrigued by the improved AI and night battles that BI offers so I installed EB with it. Here is what I did:

I installed RTW vanilla, installed BI, then installed patch 1.6 for BI. Then I installed EB over my BI and followed the instructions here: https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showpost.php?p=1433613&postcount=85

Now I have been playing for a week or so and I have yet to see any BI changes. Is there way to check if it is running with BI or is there something else I have to do? I saw the installer here:

But I was under the impression that if I followed the instructions on the first link I didn't have to use the installer. Maybe I was wrong? Thank you for the help.

Ok nevermind I got it.

I just had to use the installer over what I had already done. Now I have the option for night battles, my units can swim, and no more annoying banners!
