having trouble with tweaking my map

hi
im trying to moddify my rtrp map so there is an landbrige betwen spain and north africa. first i have read the map mod guide, i sucesfully added a landbridge to the british ilands and the mainland and removed the landbridge between mainland italy and sicily ( or is it sardinia im not sure) anyway given that i managed it the other times im very confused to why it does not work now.
so anyone got any ideas as to why it does not work ? or a downloadeable map with the landbridge there for rtrp

I think because you split the sea region into two separate regions and effectively create an inland sea. Could be wrong though. I'm confused as to why you've removed the sicily one though as its the smallest of the three and Britain probably isn't realistically landbridgeable from Europe as the closest stretch is twenty miles of sea.

Gameplay tweaking mostly i get annoyed that no one claims england, and in the south it is to change the Carthage roman conflict. making it easier for the Carthaginians to hold on to the island as well as making sure that Carthage does not get stagnant in Africa and does nothing as well as Iberia being dormant no way to execute their war with Carthage, and well they both get stuck there doing nothing its pretty annoying.

one i dont get a ctd the bridge is simply not there and i mean the biggest island the one with 4 regions.
