This may sound like a strange request but I need an idea for what to go as to a party. The theme is "What you wanted to be when you grew up", but of course no one is going as what they actually wanted to be (How am I supposed to dress as an historian? ). I am drawing complete blanks on ideas, so I thought I would chuck it over to you guys. Just a few conditions:
1) Fairly cheap
2) Easy
3) Possible to dance in
4) Suitable for warm temperatures
So go nuts! If I like it I'll go and take pictures.
A streaker.
A.) Won't spend a dime.
B.) Easy
C.) I suggest swing
D.) I'm sure you'll be fine.
So go nuts! If I like it I'll go and take pictures.
Time to deliver! Kidding, of course.

A streaker.
I considered it, and then shed the idea.
I considered it, and then shed the idea.
I guess that's bare-able.
a completely inoffensive name

I think we all nude that was going to happen. (It's 1:30, it was the best pun I could come up with.)

Pacman.
That, or Mario. Gogo Overalls.
That, or Mario. Gogo Overalls.
I second this.

Pacman.
That would be awesome, but I think it cancels out rule B.

Any suggestions on what to wear from my Aussie mates who know what a Bogan is? So far I have:
1) Ugg boots
2) Flanno shirt
3) Black undershirt (VB or some other beer company)
4) Fake mullet (I have very short hair)
5) Holden cap
6) Jeans

I would wear VB Shorts. My dad has a pair he got for free.
They are short and very logo-ed.

Wrap a sheet around yourself toga style and when chicks ask say you always wanted to be a senator. Gives you a chance to have a more than one line opener as you explain what that means, whereas if you don't have to explain then you'll already know you've found a keeper. :laugh4:

Wrap yourself in toilet paper, and go as a mummy. Then If someone asks what you wanted to be, say "Why Egyptologyst, of course!" You can even put on one of those brown jackets with elbow pads on over it for extra effect.
And if the night gets too boring, you an always light part of it on fire and run around.
Or not.
I still have a photo somewhere from when my friend Jim did that one year. Hilarity ensued. Everyone loves the flaming mummy!:campfire:

I protest at your close minded view of the flannel shirt!
It is now a very respectable item, and the mainstay of my Indieness...
(Its from Levi's:shame:)
Hahaha! VB would be so sweet!
Hey do you guys have Tui over there? If you could grab one of those wife-beaters, big ups:2thumbsup:

I'd be tempted if I didn't plan on drinking so much :laugh4:
Alcohol + Me on fire = Probably not the best combo.

I attended a costume party as a scarecrow once. One of my wife's friends, dressed as a witch, came up to me with a cigarette lighter and gave me the "Wizard of Oz" treatment. "What's the matter scarecrow, afraid of a little fire?" and promptly lit my sleeve. Took 2 pitchers of beer to put me out. I gained massive sympathy points on that one, but I was more upset about the spilt beer.:shame:

I would have, but I couldn't think how to do it. I saw a Castro mask and I was tempted to go as him though.
And lol Sarathos, its so true.
