Gil,
Can you install this patch over the beta patch or do you need to reinstall MTW from scratch if you installed the beta patch?

It's the same patch. You don't need to bother downloading it if you've installed the accidentally -released patch (which wasn't a beta).
If you feel like being exceptionally secure in your official status, by all means reinstall from scratch and download and install the official patch release, but as far as I know it isn't necessary.

So, tell me, Gil, are you posting this information on your time?
Are you still technically prohibited from using work time to communicate with us--even in such a quasi-official capacity?
Either way-- thanks for the info. If you are doing this on your time, then thanks for your effort to go above and beyond the call of duty. If I was president of CA, I would promote you immediately and double your salary.

Is Monsta right in thinking that the patch still contains a number of bugs?
If this is the case (from an MP point of view)whats the point?
MTW is like going for a meal only to have to cook yourself.....

From an MP point of view there have been some improvements and some setbacks. All in all it is a slightly disappointing patch, imho (and purely from the MP point of view). But Mosta, we have discussed this issue at length in various threads and the consensus is:
1) there are bugs we will just have to live with
2) the fixable bugs wont get fixed anytime soon so we have to live with those too
3) MP players make up far less than 10% of purchasers, so the focus of MTW is on SP, not MP.
4) The patch resolves a number of SP bugs and problems (though not all, by far), and generally the SP'ers are quiet satisfied with the patch.
Therefore, in the grand scheme of things, the MP point of view (although I embrace it), really isn't that important. We are a very small (edit: albeit unreasonably vocal) minority. We are lucky they even pay any attention to us. Im not trying to be sarcastic either-- we really are lucky given our extreme minority status.
