yay my first successful thread! (i hope)
this post aims for favourtism!
name your 2 favourite members of the org an why! ill add em to the first post and see how we go! im still deciding between a few people :laugh4:

Oh thats a tough question.
I can't think of anyone I don't like here, so that leaves everyone to pick from...
If I had to pick I would say Adrian II as one of them. He was very helpful when I was being a n00B in the Backroom.
Also Martok and Louis VI the Fat deserve honourable mentions.
In terms of actually playing TW, ATPG is the man no question.
Lemur is my new archnemesis for giving me an infringement. :clown:

I'd say #tworg (especially Ichi :P) and The Stranger.
Only two? That's borderline impossible, I have far too many people here whom I appreciate. If I had to grab two at random, I'd say Don Corleone for being a stand-up guy at all times, and Hosakawa Tito for being my brother in modding.
But there are more, far more people without whom this would be a sadder, less meaningful place.

TBH i like you all, even when it comes to the backroom and my views can differ wildly from others it almost makes it more intresting, navaros and krook posts are often fascinating to me as it offers a viewpoint from which i am so far removed, recently i have been liking koga's posts if only because i agree with most of what he's saying but im too lazy/dull/not eloquent to make the argument myself, then people like TSM and PJ give me people to disagree with (probably more PJ than TSM) and its gives me great joy disagreeing with them, then people like louis who is similarish to beirut with his wicked sense of humor...
and loads of people i haven't mentioned.. two isn't enough.... im just going to give an honourable mention to all the backroom members....
No way I could narrow it down to two. So many, many nice people. There's all sorts of nice and helpful people here, I'd have to make a shout out to many. Like Martok, Cynwulf/Caravel, R'as al Ghul, macsen rufus, Raz in the Main Hall and also being nice/helpful guys. Then there's InsaneApache and Mephistophilis in the Footy thread and being all-round funny guys. And Reverend Joe for his music. And everyone who fill the News of the Weird with puns. And the Mods, and Tosa. And, and, and, and, the list goes on.

EDIT: But as said, I like just about everyone here for one reason or another (Yes even you CR, TuffStuff, Xiahou, etc :wink: )
KukriKhan is in the top two. Coolest guy around. Really. I don't need a reason for liking Kukri, he started the very first story contest, wrapped his head in toilet paper, and has been a great mod for as long as I can remember. Seriously. What is not to like?
Gregoshi too. Long after he lost the robes his talent for puns has proven uncanny. He was also, iirc, the first mod I ever interacted with when I joined this place.
Lots of others, but if you held me down and twisted my arm until I came up with two names... well first off I'd suggest you find a different hobby. After that though I would give you those two.

Narrowing it down to do is really impossible... Two people that hasn't been mentioned yet are Omanes and FactionHeir, asistant-mods at their respective forums, doing their jobs well and both being excellent examples of good orgahs of the guild.

I don't have favourites. As much as I fling pooh at them, Tribesman and Koga are two of the funnest people to have discussions with. Lemur and Adrian have the best ability to make me think outside my box. Louis and Greg teach me how to appreciate life from a different perspective. Hell, so many of you find your way into my head, going about my day, it's impossible to pick any two.
So I'll use my vote to give a hearty "Thank you" to my 4 orgahs I'm most appreciative for having around. Banquo and Ser C... thank you for maintaining decorum and civilized discourse in the backroom (and thanks to all the other mods who pitch in keeping us going).
But I guess my 'favorite' orgah? Tosa-sama. Without him, none of us would be here. :bow:

The friends I most appreciate here are those I've played TW MP with over the years. When gaming together frequently over an extended time I think you get a more sincere sense of each other. It's not the focus to make a point, win an argument, sound clever, or draw attention through banter--it's all about foyer camaraderie and kickin' ass together on the virtual battlefield.
Kudos to CBR, Puzz3D, TosaInu, R'as al Ghul, Hunter King George, and Warman.
Kudos to Martok, Caravel, Gregoshi and Drisos for being constantly helpful gentlemen here on the forum.
Kudos to all Org staffers, with special nods to Hosa, Ser, and Kukri.

The Backroom must be the most closeknit community in the Org. Partly so our opponents are within hitting distance, but also because we like to grouphug after the fray.

Abokasee of course needs no introduction. Probably the funniest guy I've seen on the internet.
I loved Tribesman's wit in the Backroom, really smart and funny guy. Seamus Fermanagh (my Mafia buddy also), Don Corleone, and Banquo's Ghost were always all class, even though I disagreed with them often I would always feel convinced by them the most; something about the way they said things.
Great people in chat like discovery1 and Leet Eriksson (faisal).
TosaInu was always helpful whenever I whined about the arcade bugs or other things.
I always liked Gregoshi, Myrddraal, and Mithander for their helpfulness and friendliness.
I thought ShambleS was great, wish he kinda toned it down so he would still be here.
Of course I can't forget the great Mafia crew, especially Ichigo who I picked on so much but was still so cool. Sasaki Kojiro, Sigurd Fafnesbane (who hosted my favorite Mafia series too), and Kommodus to name a few who always screwed me over in those games with brilliance. GeneralHankerchief for starting the thing. Then there's Sir Moody (my protege ~;p), Husar and AggonyDuck (who never believed me), Kagemusha and Andres (who often believed me), and so on.
Europa Barabrourm and it's crew were really great too, with a special mention to Teleklos Archelaou. Also all the people who were really helpful in the modding sections with whatever questions I had.
If I forgot anyone, it's because of lack of brains not lack of love.

Yesdachi, TuffStuffMcGruff, HoreTore, CountArach, SwedishFish, Lemur, Don C, Ichigo, Viking, Tribesman, Bopa, Jolt, Nickerson and Sasaki.
Good gravy, there's simply no way I could pick out only two! There's been a ton of folks that have contributed to not only my experience here, but also to the Org as a whole.
Heck, just among the staff alone I could easily name a dozen people that stick out for their contributions: Frogbeastegg, Kukrikahn, Mithrandir, econ21, Beirut, Omanes, Andres, FactionHeir, Hosakawa Tito, Caravel, Tamur, Banquo's Ghost, and Monk all immediately come to mind....to say nothing of the inestimable TosaInu himself. In reality, though, I have an enormous amount of respect and admiration for pretty much all my fellow staff members -- they're truly a great bunch. :bow:
Other notable mentions include many of my fellow Shogun/MTW enthusiasts: Rythmic, macsen rufus, Drisos, OrdaKahn, Masamune, Wasp, makaikhaan, Raz, bamff, Gheezer57, Roark, and far too many others that I'm forgetting at the moment. Folks like Gregoshi, ATPG, Mouza, india, PBI, Sinan, Rhyfelwyr, STFS, CountArach, Louis, Leet Eriksson (whom I still think of as Faisal)....these are all members without whom the Org would be a much grayer place.
And that's just a small sample -- I could easily fill up an entire page with the names of everyone whose presence I'm grateful for. The simple fact is, we've got a lot of great people here. ~:cheers:
