Cant create settlement in new campaign

Hi,

I just tried to install clean EB 11 on my alt PC and i get ''script error - cant create settlement in descr_start.. The only thing i did is set it to alx.exe and nothing else, i have even used all the latest patches.

I am just not sure if these kind of problems happened to anyone else

Well that sounds like you must have made a mistake: *no* script ever tries to create settlements. I've heard that people on BI have to copy a certain campaign folder somewhere, perhaps a similar (oversight) thing applies to your case as well?

no no, its not a script. It basically means that a piece of code for one of the settlements is damaged. either a building is missing from edb that is being referenced in descr_strat, or a bit of the code associated is missing from descr_strat
