Well glad to see that anti-semitism hasn't been pushed aside for sexier bigotry. Normally I wouldn't post something like this but lately it seems jews having been getting it worse lately. Even the word jew is now used as an insult. I hear it tossed around like its nothing. Just a thought

Some kind of audio commentary would have been helpful, as it was the first half of the video's was large groups of muslims walking holding some black flags and the second half was jews with pictures of missing or dead relatives (i assume) maybe a bit more information ?

It works for me. I'll summarize

There are children in Missouri in middle school

These children have a spirit week

During this week you do different things "hug day" "high five day" Very common in America

Some kids decided to piggyback off this and have "hit a jew day"

Jews were hit

No one stopped them

Cue outrage.

That is really suprised me, i did used to hear the word jew thrown around as a casual insult, to be honest though im pretty sure those people wouldn't have said anything other than big nose if i asked them what a jew was.

So do the kids come up with these 'days by themselves, is it run by a teacher or is the word spread around somehow ? did the teachers let it continue after it started or did they allow it from the start ?

These days are run by the school they are generally meant to create school pride and spirit . The teachers stopped it after the jewish kids complained.
