I have never had a problem like this before (or any real problem). I was playing as Carthage and had a CTD. No big deal, they happen occasionally when I play for an extended period of time. So I restart my computer, and try to load up EB again.
No dice. Try multiplayer. No dice.
Here's what happens: I click run single player, get to the first screen, the one that says EB, a mod of RTW. Then after about 30 seconds, I get a CTD.
I ran installation validation. I don't think it worked, because the .txt file it created was blank and it said there was some sort of error. 'Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError' blah blah blah. EDIT: Ran it through the one found in my RTW directory and it worked.
Help!
Ok, I think a script is missing. Besides the EB script, wasn't there one other .txt doc in the ...\EB\Data\scripts\show_me folder? If so, could anyone send me theirs? Mine vanished and no way would I be so stupid as to delete it. The genericscript.txt! Its missing. Could anyone load it, or even its contents, here? I could add it myself.
Also missing, apparently, is the data\packs\patch1.pak. Don't know if I need that.
Yeah, I'm almost certain its the fact that I'm missing that file genericscript. Maybe someone smart can help me.
