I was playing as Sab'yn and hired some Garamantine mercenaries. Their spears are pointed the wrong way and they are stabbing with their spear butts. Here is a screenshot:

Obviously the Saba general is responding to the demands of the civilians back home for less brutal combat by ordering his troops to go for a non-lethal form of incapacitation.

It's either a problem with the unit model for the Garamantines, or it could be a problem with the animation.
Not being very knowledgeable about such things, it could be something else.

Would changing the animation to overhand spears fix this problem? It seems that they were skinned for one type of spear thrust and end up using the other.
