View Full Version : How to create dynamic cash influx for AI?

Here's the problem: the script each turn adds money to the AI factions and sometimes it creates ridiculous situations when some faction is reduced to one region but still spams units till we have 3-4 full stacks standing near that only settlement doing absolutely nothing. Is it possible to modify it so that the amount of cash the AI gets would depend on the number of provinces that faction controls? More provinces - more cash and vice versa. Probably the effect should diminish if one faction is starting to really dominate the game, so that if the number of provinces goes above, let's say, 30 the cash influx dwindles with each new province. That would also help poor AS which is being eaten alive from all sides by different minor factions.

There have been attempts by fans to make the script more dynamic (some of those fans have eventually joined the team). And the script is much more complex than it used to be.

IIRC, the script will be tweaked for EBv1.2.

Remember that making the script more complex will slow down the AI turns.

So there will be EB v1.2?? I thought that v1.1 was the last one??

Or did you meant EB II ??

We've said many many times that the release date for EB 1.2 is "before EB2".

However, there are no changes to the AI assistance yet. I don't think there will be.
