I like to propose some Catergories for the HOF 2008. I understand it won't be up for 1-2 months, but I think now is the time to start making a list of Catergories.

I think that's a good idea, but others said there is already an award for this, so I guess that's off....

I got this idea because TWC has it. It doesn't has to be a bad dishonorable pain in the know you want person. It can just be a person who is polite, but has a certain nature or something that doesn't necressary fit in.

I think there is already a Life Time Achievement Award.

I was thinking something more like:
Best Historian- Could be a better name for the winner of the Monastery Contributer Award

Most Informative Member- Can be used for multiple members with 3 winning the award a year or whatev. For members who are quite knowledgable on any number of subject, and each person's reason for winning can vary.

Most "Eloquent" Member - Like this person always has really well written posts that can be funny, serious, what have you while also not being malicious in aaany form.

And instead of saying "Controversial Member how about Most Stubborn Orgah(s) Award. You know the types that make you :wall:

I had a look at some old threads a few days ago and noticed a few members that I remember well who have been missing for quite a long time - some for 2 years +. I suppose life called to them and they have moved on. I hope life is treating them well.

Oh I totally meant them as a joke, and intended mainly for me so I could actually get an award. If they ever did become actually awards I would be very very surprised and confused....

Since the topic is about HOF 2008 Award Ideas then I have some..

I would like to get more people interested of Throne Room and all the activities there. Some of the Hotseat campaigns died because we lost some dedicated people. BC3 Hotseat is one of the last casualties.
Though recently there have been some new people wanting to join LotR and WotB they still look pretty much dead if couple of key people are away.
I don't remember what Awards there were but I hope that Throne Room will get some too, like:
Best Roleplayer
Most Helpful Person
Best Story
Most Dedicated Player

I honestly can't say since I'm not on the HOF staff, but it'll probably be in the not-too-distant future. A more definite schedule will be announced when appropriate. ~:)
