Yeah, beer bread. It's not even that hard to make, either. Just five minutes to get all the ingredients ready, then pop it in the oven for about 45 minutes. The aroma of beer wafting through the house is incredibly amazing. One can of beer(in my case, Molson Canadian Premium Lager! Woot!) can make an entire loaf!

Just be careful to put melted butter on top of the loaf, before you put it in the oven. I neglected doing that, and the entire top part of the bread, the crust, was like a wall of iron. Still really good, though.

Yeah, I've had beer bread on a couple occasions. (Again, courtesy of one of my home-brewing friends.) I agree it's quite tasty. :2thumbsup:

Could you post a recipe for this delicacy? :yes:

Beer and an oven is always win. I like to use it for beef-stew, you just need some onions and bacon and bouillon, and a little bit of flower to tie things up, and you have a truly delicious meal. Goes like this; Take big whatsitcalled these things you cook in, bake meat, add onions & bacon and bake them as well, add beer, add bouillon, put on oven (120 degrees), wait two hours (if you can because the smell is to die for).

Serve with rice.

@Fragony: That sounds awesome, bro!

Anyways, I just used the first recipe I found off google (http://www.recipezaar.com/Beer-Bread-73440), but I also added 1/2 cup of shredded cheese and a tbsp of spice. (I think I used rosemary, but I don't know, it didn't have a label. Some random spice...)
