Hello All. I'm at my wit's end on this, and have also posted this question at TWCenter.

I'm running my mod on the ALX engine. Everything was working fine until I added some new buildings (beyond what I already added). There are currently 52 (? I think) building trees, so I am within the limit. I got a CTD without error that will not go away. My splash screen comes up for about a second, then nothing. I do have show_err operating on my ALX shortcut.

I have not touched the names files. There are no missing entries in my export_buildings.txt. You'll see what I was adding when you see that file. I took out all new buildings but one in my EDB, and all buildings are accounted for in the buildings.txt file. I then used Textpad to replace any of the "tab" hidden-markings with "space-bar" hidden-markings. (That has been pointed out as a big error with modded EDB's).

Well, here I am with no solution. I cannot find any missing punctuation in the EDB, and the game still will not go past the splash screen. I'm hoping someone can take a look at these files, and tell me what I've missed.

?? How do I attach files here?

I got a similar error when I tried to insert a new level into the health buildings as a first level.
Because the old first level building was a primary bldg as defined in descr_settlement_plan.txt i got a ctd with no error message.

I have had the same error(CTD) a couple of times in my building modding time, funny thing was it happened every time I changed or updated my video driver. Might be the same for you? Otherwise I wouldn't know I'm afraid. Does the CTD go away when you remove those buildings again?

Have you edited descr_ui_buildings.txt to remove one of the two lines mentioning "carthaginian" at the top? This applies only for buildings buildable by carthaginian culture factions though.

With textfiles its easier to put them in 'code-tags'(or whatever the technical term is ..)
Use the #-sign from that series of buttons where you can also make text bold, etc etc.

or write [.code]"text here"[./code] (remove the "." from within the brackets)

wich gives
"text here"
