Seconded

I read this today and felt like crap afterward. It's like people forgot what one party rule by the Republican party did to this country a few years back. Oh wait, they aren't Republicans, but Democrats. That makes it all better.

In 8 years they'll be saying the same thing when things swing back. I admire the astounding 40% number.

When you have a joke of an Opposition party I would agree with one-party rule being fine.

I understand the advantages of having split power, but i have a similar view of the republican party to CA and i worry they would block some good things the democrats wanted to pass.... that being said i don't exactly trust the democrats either... put me down as unsure leaning towards its ok....

Not when the ruling party is also a joke.

I see them as something less of a joke.

I see them as something less of a joke.

I see them as less of a joke also, the Democrats have always been far more competent at subverting other people's human rights than the Republicans.

Indeed, not a joke at all.

I think most people still equate the problems we've been having with Bush, and less with one party rule or even the GOP for that matter.

Did you insist people vote against the republican candidate in the last two presidential elections?

Well, 2 party rule is only half as bad...
