View Full Version : Campaign map camera settings
:wall:I bet someone must take this issue before but I failed to find a proper thread?. Is there any trick to change campaign map zooming???. I'd be very glad if I'd zoom in like it was in vanilla or RTR ones.
So if anyone knows how to do it, plese share your knowledge!!!
I'm sorry. Are you under the impression that we've changed how the campaign map camera zooms in. We haven't. It zooms in like it does in vanilla or any RTW mod.

Hhhmmm, I bet I'd zoom like 'ground closer' in other mods. But to be more precise: I think about 3-way zooming: close/medium/far and EB seems to be only medium/far or just my eyes are playing tricks with me:dizzy2:
eyes are playing tricks I guess. AFAIK there is no way to change the zoom. It may be a combination of different models and new textures that give the impression that the EB camera cannot zoom in as far as in RTW.

I take your words for granted as you're EB Team Leader:shakehands:
This may be a case of you choosing another camera setting than you did in vanilla. I think the RTS camera is default, and I always change this to TotalWar camera, IIRC. You can see this in the options when you're running a battle.

Does that option change the camera on the campaign map?

No. Perhaps I should try to zoom in my browser, so that I would spot these important words :embarassed:.
