Someone recommend a type of coffee for me to try. I usually have a Flat White (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flat_white) (Pretty much a Cafe Latte), but it has been getting a bit boring lately. So if someone could recommend a new type for me to try I'll go up to the shops and buy it tomorrow.

Coffee forever!

Not particularly fond of coffee as a drink, so I have no preference, but caffiene, along with aspirin, are the true miracle drugs of the modern age. Many, many of my late-night essay rushes have been fueled on caffiene. ;)

Well, some will call me a heretic now, but I really like Senseo Coffee.

The flavours "Vienna" and "Rio de Janeiro" are my favourites.

There's nothing like a couple of cups of cafe viennois or "Vienna" on chilly day with a beautiful woman. It is after all espresso, either one or two shots, and with a thick whipped cream, and a sprinkle of chocolate on top... Eh, but I've never had one really done well in the States.

Coffee is the single worst substance ever devised by mankind. Tea is superior in every way. You shouldn't need to load a drink with sugar and cream to make it possible to swallow.

Do you eat meat with no salt or sauce as well?

I drink my family's own brand of coffee. We have a farm in Kona and grow organic coffee so I get a free supply of what I consider the best coffee in the world.

I usually drink coffee black, sometimes I'll put some milk or creamer in it though.

As much as I prefer tea, when I have coffee I like it with plenty of milk, but not too much so it is just about piping-hot.

Irish or Russian, a smile on your face a spring in your step, and maybe the foul tastes will combine into something tasty...

Black coffee is where it's at.

I generally like dark or medium roasts on the strong side. Coffee that is too weak is just nasty. Even super strong coffee is better than coffee that's a little bit weak. I generally drink Green Mountain Coffee because it is roasted relatively close to where I live and I think most of what they do are Arabica beans, but I'm not experienced enough to be able to determine huge differences in the type of bean itself. I also recommend not drinking flavored coffees as they are really only good for the smell and novelty factor, not really the taste.

Was that your family's farm on Dirty Jobs?

I'm pretty partial to a white choclate mocha. I get it like 3 times a week when I have the time. A bit costly though...

Coffee, love it. Prefer real black filter coffee though unless I'm out somewhere and I might have a Cappuccino.

Do you eat meat with no salt or sauce as well?

Only if it's fresh.

And I have my coffee strong and black, with none of that sugar nonsense. I drink espresso by the mugful - it's the only way!

Coffee forever!Have you tried a Mocha? Those, Cappuccino, and straight Espresso are generally the only espresso drinks I go for. I used to make my own, but it was too much hassle for as little as I drank it. Most of the coffee I drink now is brewed in a press pot.

I agree the others who have said black coffee is the way to go.
Some of the best coffee I've drank was Kenya Nyeri, but there's good quality stuff from all over the world- just look out for that vile, over roasted, burnt tasting stuff (usually served up by Starbucks and their ilk).

I'll make it even worse: I prefer my "coffee" with milk and sugar :embarassed: :shame:

Should I post this in your confessions thread as well?

That thread is meant for minor flaws not mortal sins, I made it pretty clear 'lest we be forgiven'.

How can we forgive?

Folgers black and straight up for that caffeine jumpstart in the morning:sunny:. The coffee from the messhall at work is vile, tastes like brewed acorns, so if I absolutely must have a cup while working overtime I add some milk to choke it down.

Kopi Luwak (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kopi_Luwak). Always wanted to try it, but never gotten around to it. Not easy to find due to scarcity, you'd probably have to order it online.

I'm a double espresso, no milk, no sugar kind of guy. White chocolate mocha? A man shouldn't even know what that means. I'm sure Clint Eastwood doesn't.

Coffee...Black and very very very strong.

If it has sugar its a soft drink, if it has cream/milk etc its just a blitzed tiramissu.

Also I am not ashamed to say I love starbucks coffee. Venti black americano with 2-4 extra shots and a good book/newspaper/magazine :laugh4:

I like a classic espresso with a twist of lemon, sometimes a cappuccino with a breath of cinnamon after a fancy meal out. At home I use a French press, favoring self-ground French Roast, no particular brand but organic (from Whole Foods usually).

So we've had tea, now coffee ... was chai ever mentioned? I love a nice spicy chai on occasion. Kind of a 'tween.

When I'm staying with my grandparents that's how I take my coffee.
