hey I just downloaded the 1.2 patch and in my campaign all my generals have been "slain by sabaeans" its pretty funny because they're still alive though but its annoying to see that trait :s

This patch isnt save compatible. Did you download it then continue with a previous save game?

1.2 is not save-game compatible, so I assume that you've used an old 1.1 campaign on the new 1.2 patch.

I think it is connected to traits gained by the son of the dead guy.

You give it to the dead guy after a battle but before he registers as dead (and you can't give any traits). You then have a trigger that checks the traits of a father, and if the "Killed by Sabaeans" comes up then there is a chance that the guy's son gets a trait that makes him hate the Saba faction.
