Using EB 1.1, with no unofficial mods. All fixes have been tried to no avail. Background script on or off makes no difference.
I try to end the turn of winter 262 BC and it doesn't completely go finish, it stops on Saba. I've tried all the suggestions and fixes posted and nothing seems to work right.

Basically the same as above, except it's the winter of 220 BC and it CTDs on Saka.

Have you tried to check for rebellions, and going back to an earlier savegame?

I personally have no rebellions anywhere and no previous savegames :(

Personally isn't good enough. The troublesome rebellion can also occur somewhere else. See the frequent issues for many suggestions to get past this problem. And start keeping savegames from earlier.

For may Casse game I found that Sardis is owned by Seleucids and has a Makedonian admiral as governor. I tried the trick to control the faction, but since I'm on a Mac all F1 does is lower the brightness. I think I'll just DL EB 1.2 >.>

Sounds like you installed a non-savegame compatible submod then.

I doubt it, but you never know. All I did was DL 1.1, install, then started playing. I was so happy with my Casse game too >.> so rich...so powerful...ARGH
