CoD4: Please insert disk error

So I bought CoD4 and installed but when I try to start it up I get a can not find disk please insert disk and continue message, even though I have the disk in. I'm thinking that it may not recognize it because my CD drive is under the F: drive and not the standard D:. So is there any validity to this theroy? If so how do I fix it. If not then does anyone else have ideas. Thanks in advance. :bow:

That shouldn't matter at all. My CD drive is under E: and I don't have any problems with it.

Quick questions:

Does the CD work on other computers?
Can you access the files on the CD on the computer through explore or something?
Can you play other CDs on that CD drive?
Have you tried reinstalling?
Is it the right CD? Some games have multiple ones and you need the right one to play

Fixed it, had to fix a few drivers. Thanks anyway.
